A Good Day for Dairy-Free Pizza
As one of the most prolific dairy-alternative companies out there today, Daiya is well-known for its success in mainstream markets: At last count its products were being used in around 20,000 independent and chain restaurant locations.

Get ready to see another big bump in that number as Daiya continues to woo the pizza world through new partnerships with Pie Five and Godfather’s Pizza.

As an eater, I’m happy to participate in this courting process by going on as many dairy-free pizza dates as possible.

Godfather’s already launched a Daiya-topped pie at its newest Denver location on May 27, and the chain plans to expand to 12 more locations in the city. It’s TBD whether the dairy-free cheese will eventually be available at all 600 Godfather’s units nationwide. It would certainly be a huge win for consumers in search of more options.

As for Pie Five, the rapidly growing fast-casual chain took it to the next level by crafting a totally custom blend with Daiya. The new “Daiya Classic Blend Shreds” has basically everything going for it as a delicious blend of mozzarella and cheddar flavor that’s free of soy, gluten, and dairy.

It’s a bright day when plant-based eaters can enter some of the most popular pizza restaurants in the country and be served something that’s satisfying and sustainable.

Cheers for choice and for a changing cheese landscape!
